ICS Map Server is a comprehensive workshop specifically designed for the production of cartographic files from various sources such as satellite images, aerial photographs and paper maps. It is an open application compatible with existing image processing programs and Geographic Informations Systems (GIS), particularly adapted for image processing and Digital Terrain Models(DTM) generation. ICS Map Server manages cartographic information in various projections and grids. It performs conversion, geocoding, and mosaic generation.
ICS Map Server: - performs both manual and automatic extraction of cartographic information
- interpolates contour lines in order to produce DTM
- allows modification and enhancement of cartographic information
